  • For anyone in work, self‑employed, or about to start a job

Access to Work is a government grant that pays for support you need because of ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, or any long‑term mental health condition that affects you at work.

    This can include:

    • emotional regulation support

    • executive function support

    • workplace coping strategies

    • communication support

    • ND‑informed mental health sessions

    How it works

    • You apply online

    • Access to Work assesses your needs

    • They award you a grant

    • You use that grant to pay for SparkMind sessions

    How SparkMind helps

    We can:

    • explain the application process

    • help you describe your workplace difficulties

    • provide a supporting letter

    • supply quotes and session information for your assessor

    • invoice you or AtW depending on your award

Many clients receive funding for 12–20 sessions, sometimes more.

  • For anyone receiving Personal Independence Payment

PIP is designed to help with the extra costs of living with a long‑term condition. Because PIP is not restricted, you can choose to use part of your award to pay for SparkMind sessions if they help you manage your daily life.

There is no special application, you simply use your award in the way that supports you best.

    How SparkMind helps

    We can provide:

    • a factual letter explaining your needs

    • session summaries for your own records

    • information to support PIP reviews or new claims

  • For workplaces wanting to support staff wellbeing

Some employers will fund mental health or neurodivergent support directly, especially if it helps with:

    • performance

    • communication

    • stress management

    • reasonable adjustments

    • return‑to‑work plans

    How SparkMind helps

    We can:

    • provide a professional quote

    • outline the support we offer

    • communicate with HR or management (with your consent)

    • create a structured support plan

  • Through our partnership with Moreton Men, we are working to make mental health support as accessible as possible for the men who attend their groups.

Fundraising events help cover the cost of sessions for men who need support but cannot afford it.

    How SparkMind helps

    We can:

    • offer funded sessions through the partnership

    • help you apply for support

    • guide you through other funding options alongside this
